Participants also called for educating teachers on race consciousness and institutional racism. Critics described the effort as an attempt to mold students toward socialist views.

Sen. Declassified CIA Note On Venezuelan Election Machines Compared To 2020 Fulton County Issues
A declassified CIA note summarizing intelligence on Venezuela’s electronic voting manipulation capabilities from 2004 to 2020 is being compared to problems in Fulton County, Georgia, during the 2020 election. The CIA document describes reported techniques involving insider access, virtual machines, hash file replication and methods designed to evade audits. An Election Oversight Group report on Fulton County cites untested software, removed memory cards, surrogate tabulators, missing authentication files and incomplete audit records. Senate Confirms Jay Clayton As Trump Intelligence Chief
The U.S. Senate confirmed Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence on Tuesday in a 51-47 party-line vote. Clayton, the former SEC chairman and current U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, succeeds acting director Bill Pulte. Thune Says At Least 15 Republican Senators Oppose Ending Filibuster For SAVE America Act
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) said roughly 15 of about 20 Republican senators who met with President Trump’s team are opposed to eliminating the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act. California AG Sued Over Changed Title For Voter ID Ballot Measure

Massachusetts lawmakers are advancing a bill to create a permanent commission on the status of American Muslims that would identify and recommend qualified Muslims for appointive government positions. Immigrant Business Group Votes To Sue New York City Over Mamdani Taxpayer-Funded Grocery Stores

Eleven Shot Two Fatally In Chicago Overnight Violence
Chicago police reported that 11 people were shot, including two who died, and one person was stabbed in separate incidents across the city between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning. The fatal shootings took place in the South Shore and West Pullman neighborhoods. Victims ranged in age from 15 to 43 and suffered wounds to the head, chest, back, legs and arms. They were transported to multiple hospitals in conditions ranging from good to critical. No arrests have been announced as detectives from several areas investigate the cases.
HHS Awards $316,000 For University Of Alabama Study On Vaginal Health In Transgender Men On Testosterone
The Department of Health and Human Services awarded the University of Alabama at Birmingham a $316,000 grant to study vaginal health in transgender-identifying biological women using testosterone. The funding, which began under the prior administration and runs through 2029, supports research by Dr. Olivia Van Gerwen on symptoms and infections in this population. A previous related grant examined the impact of testosterone on vaginal microbiota. Testosterone use can suppress estrogen and lead to tissue changes similar to menopause.
