LISTEN NOW | First, let me state this for the record so no one can try to manipulate my words. The murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is nothing short of an act of assassination. I condemn the act and hope the perpetrator is apprehended and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, left to the justice meted out by a jury of his peers. That said, it would be wise to examine the possible motives that spurred the shooter to engage in murder, in the taking of another human being’s life...
Nicely said! Anybody that has had to pay for private health insurance knows what high premiums and more out of pocket can do to a families bottom line. I can't help but notice how much bigger our hospitals and clinics have gotten in the last 10 to 15 years.
I have had to deal with medical issues that, thank God, have been treated by the best doctors around. One problem I've been noticing is it is harder to find any competent doctor within a few MONTHS for a visit. This is crazy and with DEI B.S., are we really getting the best or are we just checking off a box on their graduation?
All of this being said, I am a gun advocate and I believe it is my right to DEFEND myself and family. For a low life person to feel they have been ripped off to the point of taking somebodies life up the chain in an insurance company means he/she is mentally ill (obviously) and what is then the answer?
Frank, maybe you're right, could some of this brooding be because of the "drugs" in all aspects of our food or surroundings ? Or is what is happening with these loose cannons just a feeling of helplessness and unable to cope? Nobody wants to be put on drugs and I have direct knowledge of somebody on Lithium because of being bi-polar. She in the end, found her uncles gun and took her own life.
We live in a tough world and at times, it may seem that some people lash out at the poor me or I'll show them feeling to the point of murder. This is the question that must be resolved by the hard to find, wait three months doctors.
