Before we get to Monday’s segment of America’s Third Watch, I wanted to make a few comments about Joe Biden’s disgraceful Valley Forge speech. To put it bluntly, there was so much disingenuousness in that speech – so much politically driven propaganda, that I was half expecting Washington’s ghost to appear to slap the man.
As I have stated many times – and as I am starting to hear emerging into the conservative mainstream, there is no adjudication of insurrection anywhere against Donald Trump regarding the events on January 6th. In fact, not one January 6th political prisoner has even been charged with insurrection. Therefore, the 14th Amendment, Section 3 doesn’t apply.
Additionally – and this addresses the degree of outright deceit to which the neo-fascists who puppeteer the Biden administration will sink, Trump already served four years, and none of the fear-porn being shopped by Democrats ever came close to happening. One would think that if Donald Trump was a “danger to democracy” he would have planted the seeds the first time around. He didn’t.
During the entirety of his tenure as President, Trump had fidelity to the US Constitution and succeeded in protecting the citizenry by holding the Bill of Rights as sacrosanct. The Biden administration’s fear-porn about Trump being “Hitler” and that he will somehow hijack the nation to totalitarian despotism is so over the top that only the most intellectually stunted among the Democrat faithful can honestly believe the allegation.
But the most egregious error – and this is something that the ideological Left has been purposely hawking ever since the Wilsonian Marxists arrived on the scene, is his insistence that our nation is a democracy.

“The word democracy does not appear in the Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution...and for good reason. The United States is not a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic and the American people must understand this reality. If we continue to allow the untruth that the United States of America is a democracy to flourish we invite the demise of our government and our nation; we invite the cessation of the American Experiment and doom future generations to a fate unknown.
“Over the course of our day-to-day activities, we enjoy freedoms and liberties that have been established by our founding documents – The Charters of Freedom…These documents established a Constitutional Republic; a nation, ruled by a government based on the rule of law; laws enacted by governmental representatives elected by the people.
“But as we exist today, many among us – including many of the more popular pundits, political activists, special interest groups, and even many elected officials – erroneously refer to our system of government as a democracy. In fact, our Founders and Framers understood a democracy to be a dangerous vehicle that, given time, would devolve into mob rule or government by majority; a government where the minority had little or no voice; a government unrestrained in it reach into our lives. It is for this specific reason that the Founders and Framers established our nation as a Constitutional Republic; a nation based on the rule of law and not the rule of men.
“Those who possess nefarious and/or ideological agendas for our nation often refer to our system of government as a democracy, knowing full well that democracy is a transitional state between a republican form of government and an oligarchic form of government; a vehicle for transition to first, majority rule, which, in light of the corruptible and narcissistic frailty of human virtue, eventually leads to the establishment of an oligarchy – or, rule by an elitist class – and the trampling of the rights of those in the minority. The implementation of this transition is facilitated by a distracted and uninformed citizenry and a people who exist constitutionally illiterate…”

James Madison, who along with George Mason, crafted the US Constitution, is quoted as saying:
“Pure democracy is the most vile form of government...such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
So, Biden’s insistence that he and he alone can “protect democracy” when one understands that democracy is equal to mob rule, is probably a true statement – his administration, along with Obama 1.0 pissed all over the Charters of Freedom for their own selfish power trip. But it is the most egregious; most deceitful element of his speech at Valley Forge.
It is time we – those who know better – start correcting anyone and everyone who makes the statement that the United States a “democracy”. It is not. It is a Constitutional Republic.
