Hornik stated the New York City and state boards of elections lack certainty about the result and noted her group used commercial databases for the analysis.
FBI Probes Cyberattacks On Michigan And Minnesota Water Systems
Michigan reported cyberattacks on nine of its water systems Saturday after joining Minnesota, where more than 30 systems were targeted earlier in the week. State officials said all Michigan systems continued to operate safely with no known public health impacts after local operators addressed the issues. Fauci Faces Lifetime Ban From Federal Government Work Under New Bill

Y’all Street Launches Texas Stock Exchange Goes Live In Dallas
The Texas Stock Exchange, known as Y’all Street or TXSE, went fully live for trading on Friday in Dallas. The exchange is the first new major U.S. stock exchange in decades and is backed by firms including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Charles Schwab. It plans to facilitate corporate listings later this year and IPOs starting in 2027, positioning itself as an alternative to the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq for companies in the growing southern “Boom Belt.” The exchange is currently operating from temporary offices in Uptown Dallas and will move to a permanent headquarters in the Bank of America Tower.
American Red Cross Declares National Blood Crisis As Type O Supply Drops
The American Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis after donations fell to a four-year summer low. DSA Activists Signed Pledge To Support And Defend Chinese Socialism
Multiple individuals linked to the Democratic Socialists of America signed a statement from Friends of Socialist China pledging to support, defend, and promote understanding of Chinese socialism. The statement describes the record of socialist countries as overwhelmingly positive and calls the continued survival of Chinese socialism crucial for humanity. Signatories include DSA International Committee members such as Mirah Wood, listed as co-chair of the Middle East and Africa subcommittee, and John McGrath. The pledge has appeared on the group’s website for years, with some names dating back to at least 2022.
Democrat Virginia Governor Restores Voting Rights For 66,000 Felons
Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) announced that her administration has restored voting rights to more than 66,000 felons since she took office in January. The restorations also include rights to serve on juries, run for office and become notaries. Spanberger described the previous practice of stripping felons of voting rights as a “shameful relic of our Jim Crow past” and urged support for a constitutional amendment that would make restorations automatic upon completion of sentences. The American Federation of Teachers adopted a resolution supporting access to gender-affirming care across all stages of life and committing to legal challenges against Trump administration healthcare policies. The measure, titled “Protecting Medical Research, Healthcare Access and Health Equity for LGBTQIA+ Communities,” was approved at the union’s recent convention. It also calls for preserving federal collection of sexual orientation and gender identity data. The AFT represents about 1.8 million members and has pledged to participate in litigation and other advocacy efforts to defend such care.
