The American Fifth Column’s Laughable Indictment Of Donald Trump

Here we go again. Special Counsel Jack Smith, appointed by the Biden administration’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has leveled a four-count indictment against former President Donald Trump, including charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against rights. The only problem with the charges is this. They are laughable.

Each of the charges in Smith’s indictment is based on either a narrative preferred by those who detested Trump from before the time he was elected to office or a supposition about events that may or may not have taken place. They certainly present a demonstrative paradox for the ideologically jaded, neo-fascist Left, in and outside the Biden administration.

Is Trump A Mastermind Villian Or A Dufus Clown?

To listen to the radical, Trump-deranged Left in our Republic, Donald Trump is a villainous mastermind; the greatest threat to not only our nation but to the continued existence of humanity. A quick perusal of the X accounts of Rob Reiner, Mark Hamill, Adam Schiff, or Adam Kinzinger proves this, showing a level of obsession with Trump that most psychiatrists would agree meets the definition of “mental disorder”.

People like Reiner, Hamill, Schiff, and Kinzinger – along with the elite of corporate-controlled media, Silicon Valley, and the bureaucratic Deep State (and this includes disingenuous players from both sides of the aisle) – have stated, in no uncertain terms, they believe Trump capable of one of the most intricately designed and coordinated coup attempts ever executed – not in US history, but world history.

Somehow, Donald Trump – as stated in the indictment Smith delivered Tuesday, was capable, in just sixty-seven days, of executing the following:

“...did knowingly combine conspire, confederate, and agree with co-conspirators, known and unknown to the Grand Jury, to defraud the United States by using dishonest, fraud and deceit to impair, obstruct and defeat the lawful federal government function by which the results of the presidential election are collected, counted, and certified by the federal government.”

That’s an evil genius with a full complement of henchmen right there! Akin to the most diabolical Bond villains ever to be conjured up by Ian Flemming! Surely, the intellectual stallion that is “The Meathead” is correct. Trump is a danger to the planet!

But then, conversely and from the same arrogant gaggle of entitled bullies, we have the claim that Trump is inept and intellectually stunted. The “Big Guy” himself said as much during the 2020 Presidential Debates, insisting that then-President Trump was “a clown.”

Matt Damon, the deep thinker that he is, stated, “[He] doesn’t seem to think deeply about too many things.”

Colombian singer/dancer/sexpot Shakira opined, “No one living in this century should stand behind so much ignorance.” No one is sure whether Shakira was in the US or Colombia when she made the statement or why a Colombian – given that Colombia is one of the most corrupt and dangerous nations on the planet – should care.

Seth McFarland of Family Guy fame, tweeted, “I truly cannot visualize the rambling, incoherent creature I saw at the debates now addressing the nation from the Oval Office.”

The rapper intellect of Mac Miller emerged in this statement, “I’mma be here every day telling the world how much I hate you, how much of a clown you are.”

And these erudite words from Cher (yes, she is still with us) were issued, “Let’s throw Trump into a volcano”.

So, the glitterati Left and the Biden administration in the form of the President himself, see Trump as a bumbling, incompetent, megalomaniac.

So, which one is it? Is he a diabolical mastermind capable of destroying the free world? Or is he a buffoon?

The truth is this. He is neither and the neo-fascist, spoiled-child Left knows it.

Stepping Back Into Reality

Anyone who can critically think – and at this point, finding those who can on the Left side of the ideological aisle is increasingly becoming a job for the “Donna” character on the series Suits – can see the desperate stretch Smith has applied to each of the charges he has leveled at Trump.

The charge of conspiracy to defraud the United States reads:

“A conspiracy to defraud the United States by using dishonesty, fraud, and deceit to impair, obstruct, and defeat the lawful federal government function by which the results of the presidential election are collected, counted, and certified by the federal government, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371…”

For this charge to be legitimate, it would require the expungement of Trump’s right to have an opinion of his own about the election results – regardless of how any other person, authority, or institution might see the matter – during a time when an election contest is still ongoing. In fact, no Presidential Election is codified to law until all the Electoral College Elector challenges have been dispensed with and the electoral votes have been counted and voted confirmed.

(As an aside, the challenges to the seated Elector Colleges Electors were never heard because of the “violent insurrection” that found the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer retreating to an “undisclosed location” complete with documentary cameras. There’s your conspiracy if you want to look into it.)

The charge of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding reads:

“A conspiracy to corruptly obstruct and impede the January 6 congressional proceeding at which the collected results of the presidential election are counted and certified (“the certification proceeding”), in violation of 18 USC. § 1512(k)...”

First, Trump had every right – and there is historical precedent – to challenge the Electors at the Electoral College. In fact, Democrats have challenged Electoral College Electors three times since 2000.

According to Virginia Allen, writing for The Daily Signal:

“In 2001, House Democrats challenged the certification of electoral votes for then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush, a Republican, but the objection failed because no senator agreed to sign the written objection…
“A similar situation occurred in 2017, when then-Vice President Joe Biden oversaw certification of the electoral votes that handed the presidency to Donald Trump. House Democrats challenged the electoral slate, but to no avail, because they lacked support in the Senate…
“The certification challenge in 2005 was the only instance in recent years in which both a Senator and a House Member signed a formal objection to an electoral slate. Then-Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, D-Ohio, and then-Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., together challenged Bush’s victory in Ohio on grounds of alleged voter irregularities…ultimately neither Jones nor Boxer was able to gain enough votes from their respective colleagues to alter Ohio’s electoral slate.”

So, Trump’s detractors – including Mr. Smith – are wanting it their way when it benefits them and deny the same right to anyone who disagrees with their position. Should charges of conspiracy have been leveled against Maxine Waters in 2001, each of the House Democrats in 2017, or Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein in 2005?

Specifically to Boxer and Feinstein, how were their declarations of “voting irregularities” in Ohio any different from Trump’s claim of “voter fraud” in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, and Arizona?

To the charges of obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights, read thusly and respectively:

“A conspiracy to corruptly obstruct and impede the January 6 congressional proceeding at which the collected results of the presidential election are counted and certified (“the certification proceeding”), in violation of 18 USC. § 1512(k)...”

And:

“A conspiracy against the right to vote and to have one’s vote counted, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §241.”

Both of these charges are negated by the simple fact that the group of people who assembled at the US Capitol Building on January 6th – including those who executed a breach of the building – were not under the direction of Donald Trump or any of his charges. To imply that they were is a disingenuous attempt to force a preferred narrative into fact.

Here is exactly what Trump said in his speech prior to the events of January 6th, 2021:

“After this we’re going to walk down – and I'll be there with you – we’re going to walk down…to the Capitol and we’re going to cheer on our brave Senators and Congressmen and women – and we’ll probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness, you have to show strength and you have to be strong – we have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the Electors who have been lawfully slated – lawfully slated.
“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol Building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today, we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity…”

So, the question is begged. Where in that speech is there any attempt to incite violence, let alone a violent “insurrection”? It simply doesn’t exist. In fact, nowhere in the full text of Donald Trump’s January 6th, 2021, speech is there any direction, command, or plea to interrupt, disrupt, or interfere with the proceedings taking place at the US Capitol building in the Electoral College.

And because there was no incitement to action issued by President Trump on that day, the small number of individuals who did perpetrate unlawfulness at the US Capitol Building are solely responsible for their actions. Any attempt to transpose that responsibility must be seen as politically motivated.

Further, because there is no culpability by Trump regarding the actions of the violent few – and Tucker Carlson’s courageous exposing of the raw surveillance tapes from the Capitol Building that day proves beyond any doubt that the overwhelming majority of people in attendance were peaceful, both inside and out – there can be no disenfranchisement of the vote where the voting public is concerned.

The Only Conclusion At Which
Any Thinking Person Can Arrive

In an age of grotesquely disingenuous politics and culture steeped in extreme moral relativism; an age where everyone’s “truth” is valid, even the intellectually hobbled can see that the charges leveled at Donald Trump surrounding January 6th, 2021, are fully anchored in politics. It is obvious and it is sickening.

Make no mistake. I have my own issues with Donald Trump. I do find him to be brash and sometimes unpolished. He is opportunistic where his ego is concerned and sometimes – not all the time, but sometimes – that ego gets in the way of making the better decision.

But an honest man or woman simply must admit that the nation was in better shape and standing, and the people were better off, under the Trump administration than it is under the Biden administration:

The economy was infinitely better
Homeownership for all, and especially minority home ownership, was dramatically up
Small business start-ups across every demographic were up
Our military was in immeasurably better shape than it is today
China and Russia were actually held in check rather than empowered
Wokeism (a hybrid of Marxism and neo-fascism) was at a level where rights were still guaranteed for all
And the border was secure

By comparison, under the Biden administration:

Civil liberties and guaranteed rights were curtailed under false pretenses during COVID
BlackRock and Berkshire-Hathaway have been allowed to captivate the housing market causing housing – and especially rental prices – to skyrocket
The world stands on the precipice of global nuclear confrontation largely due to diplomatic ineptitude
China has usurped the United States as the world’s economic leader even as it spreads communism around the globe
The military exists depleted in both its capabilities and morale, transformed into a gender-identity petri dish that has our foes laughing instead of respecting
Our governmental agencies have been found to have colluded with the global elite to create a virus scare that decimated economies
The First Family has been found to have peddled influence for riches
And, lastly, but by no means completing the list, our justice system has been politically weaponized

That’s an honest examination of the juxtaposition between the Biden and the Trump administrations. It invalidates any and all of the “sky is falling”, convoluted rhetoric of the neo-fascist Leftists like Rob Reiner, who is increasingly outing himself as a political simpleton and ideological slave, much like the rest of the glitterati and imperial elite.

The truth of the matter is this. The continued targeting of Donald Trump by the wholly politicized US Department of Justice is proof positive that the political Left in the United States cares very little about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights – or the sanctity of the idea of “justice for all” – unless they are hiding behind the documents and using them to advance their opportunistic, intolerant, and extremist agenda.

“A Republic, Ma’am. If You Can Keep It…”

History tells us that just after the crafting of the US Constitution, a crowd approached Benjamin Franklin outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia where a woman asked what sort of government the delegates had created.

Franklin responded to the woman, “A Republic, ma’am. If you can keep it.”

The talking heads of the mainstream media complex insist that our nation hasn’t been as divided as it is today since the US Civil War. In fact, they may very well be correct. But we are not just divided on a few hot-button issues, we are divided culturally and ideologically on all the issues.

We find ourselves at this point in time thanks to a Marxist-based American Fifth Column and a sycophantic mainstream media that helped to foment and advance a culture that suborned half a nation in its intolerant “bullyism”. I am referring to the disingenuous, neo-fascists of the intolerant, arrogant Left.

Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris completely and purposely (given she has a staff that should be fact-checking for her) misrepresented a curriculum standard used in Florida to address the subject of slavery saying Florida’s new curriculum standards sought to “gaslight” students by teaching them “that enslaved people benefited from slavery.”

The curriculum rubric has one specific standard that says teachers should examine “the various duties and trades performed by slaves (e.g., agricultural work, painting, carpentry, tailoring, domestic service, blacksmithing, transportation).” In addition, an added “benchmark clarification” explains that “instruction includes how slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit.”

Anyone reading that “slavery benefited the enslaved” in that statement is disingenuous in the least, and intellectually, morally, and ethically deficient at best. Poor qualities for the Vice President of the United States…unless you are part of the Biden administration, evidently.

This elicited an immediate response from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who issued a roundtable debate challenge on the topic to Harris. Harris declined saying:

“Right here in Florida, they plan to teach students that enslaved people benefitted from slavery…They insult us in an attempt to gaslight us, in an attempt to divide and distract our nation with unnecessary debate…And now, they attempt to legitimize these unnecessary debates with a proposal that most recently came in of a politically-motivated roundtable…Well, I'm here in Florida. And I will tell you, there’s no roundtable, no lecture, no invitation we will accept to debate an undeniable fact…"

Harris exemplifies the arrogance and self-importance that permeates the neo-fascist Left in our country. Their feelings and their opinions – their perceived yet non-existent intellect – always trumps the fact. Truth is only on their side and anyone who opposes them is a heretic.

A posted comment under an online story about Harris's refusal to discuss the matter with DeSantis summed it up perfectly:

“That’s because Democrat [read: neo-fascist] narrative strategy is to assume a conclusion before anyone has a chance to analyze facts, then attack the opposition with the superficial aspects of how something appears to give weight to their unproven conclusions. There’s little due diligence done intellectually by Democrats any longer. They simply find an outrageous claim, use it as a cudgel against anyone who disagrees, then further use that same behavior as justification for being outraged in the first place. There’s no foundation to their arguments aside from their initial emotional reaction and they work very hard to repetitively drone that rhetoric into the conversation. They have become adept at steamrolling with nonsense. It’s no surprise she wouldn’t debate him, she knows it is a losing position.”

We can identify that same behavior in the actions taken by those who loathe Donald Trump and those who need him destroyed to remain in political power.

The narratives that the events of January 6th, 2021, were both a “deadly insurrection” and orchestrated by the former-President, are both unprovable without conjecture and patently false. Yet the neo-fascist Left holds true to their false narrative, advancing it and nurturing it with just as much fidelity as they did the now debunked Russia collusion narrative, and all for political purposes.

With the mainstream media complex now overtly and admittedly running interference for the Bidens and their corruption, and the neo-fascist Left and its vicious rape of the justice system – and standing in support of the American Fifth Column, we are at a point where we can respond to Dr, Franklin’s supposition.

It doesn’t look like we are doing even an okay job of “keeping our Republic”.
