Soros Throws Ideological Gasoline On The Media Manipulation Fire
As if the American people weren’t inundated with disingenuous political and ideological marketing meant to manipulate their perception of the upcoming General Election, now comes news that the decrepitly sinister hand of George Soros is entering deeper into the wheelhouse of the propaganda machine.
Soros, the Hungarian-born billionaire and founder of the Open Society Foundations, has recently purchased a significant stake in Audacy, the second-largest radio company in the United States. Soros Fund Management bought around $400 million of debt owed by Audacy during its bankruptcy process, potentially giving Soros "effective control" over more than 220 radio stations across the country.
The Audacy media group, which recently filed for bankruptcy, owns 227 major radio stations in 27 states and 45 cities across the US. These include some of the biggest channels in New York, Memphis, Chattanooga, Denver, Washington DC, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, Wichita, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Richmond, and several major cities across California, as well as several other prominent markets across the US.
Buying The Ability To Disinform
While owning 40 percent of Audacy's overall debt is not a majority stake, Soros could still gain effective control of the media giant when it emerges from bankruptcy.
Audacy reported having over 40 million users across its platforms, and if Soros can influence the content of these stations, it could significantly impact public opinion, particularly in the lead-up to this year's presidential election.
This acquisition is not Soros's first venture into a monopolization or overweighted influence in the media industry.
Last summer, Soros Fund Management joined a consortium of creditors to purchase Vice Media, paying $350 million to acquire a former media juggernaut once valued at $5.7 billion.
In addition, Soros has made significant moves into American radio in the past two years, brokering Univision's $60 million sale in 2022 of 18 mostly conservative Hispanic radio stations, including right-wing powerhouse Radio Mambi, and investing in the liberal podcast network Crooked Media, home of "Pod Save America."
Mambí, a mainstay of Miami’s hardline anti-Communist Cuban exile community for decades is now run by two former Democrat operatives, Stephanie Valencia and Jess Morales Rocketto, who worked on Barack Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s political campaigns. Valencia also worked in the Obama White House.
Soros Fund Management needs help from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to gain control of Audacy. Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of US radio stations cannot exceed 25 percent. However, an FCC filing details Soros' request to the commission to make an exception.
From The Moment He Was Hatched
George Soros has been a figure of immense controversy in the United States, particularly in his political activities and influence on US elections. For many years, Soros has been accused of using his vast wealth to interfere in the American political process, often supporting candidates and causes that align with his radically-Left worldview.
Born György Schwartz, Soros is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world, with a net personal worth estimated at around $8.6 billion.
In 1944, at the age of 14, Soros was assigned to work for a Hungarian official named Baumbach, who was a member of the Nazi Party. Baumbach was responsible for confiscating property from Hungarian Jews, and Soros was tasked with accompanying him on these trips. After the war, Soros moved to London and later to the United States, where he pursued a career in finance.
His success in the financial world, primarily through his hedge fund, Soros Fund Management, has enabled him to amass a vast fortune, which he has used to fund various political and ideologically-based causes.
An Agenda Every Bit As Evil As The World Economic Forum
One of Soros's most significant philanthropic endeavors is the Open Society Foundations, a network of foundations, partners, and projects in more than 100 countries. The organization serves as a vehicle for Soros to advance his political agenda, which often aligns with the radical Left.
Soros has a long history of supporting radically left-wing candidates and causes in the United States and worldwide. His political involvement in the United States dates back to the 1980s when he donated to various Progressive and Democrat candidates and causes. Over the years, Soros's financial contributions to the Democrat Party have increased significantly, with some estimates suggesting that he has donated more than $20 billion to left-wing candidates and organizations.
One of Soros's most notable political contributions came during the 2004 presidential election when he donated $27 million to various Progressive Democrat groups to unseat then-President George W. Bush.
During the 2016 election cycle, Soros donated more than $25 million to support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and other Progressive and Democrat candidates.
He has also been a major financial supporter of the Democrat Party's efforts to expand voting rights without citizenship verification, contributing millions of dollars to groups like the Brennan Center for Justice and the League of Women Voters.
De-Balancing The Scales
One of the most contentious aspects of George Soros's political involvement is his interference in US elections. His vast wealth and political connections give him an unfair advantage in shaping the outcome of elections, often to the detriment of conservative candidates and causes. There are several ways in which Soros is accused of interfering in US elections, including:
Funding Left-Wing Voter Mobilization Efforts: Soros has donated millions of dollars to organizations that focus on voter registration and mobilization, particularly among traditionally Democrat constituencies such as minorities, young people, and illegal immigrants. This funding gives left-wing candidates an unfair advantage, as it effectively increases voter turnout among their base.
Supporting Left-Wing Media Outlets: Soros has been a major financial supporter of various left-wing media outlets, including the Center for American Progress, Media Matters, and ProPublica. These organizations often produce content that is critical of conservative politicians and policies, which some argue serves to influence public opinion and sway elections in favor of left-wing candidates.
Donating to Left-Wing Political Action Committees (PACs): Soros has donated millions of dollars to various left-wing PACs, such as Priorities USA Action and American Bridge 21st Century. These organizations often engage in negative campaigning against conservative candidates, using their resources to produce attack ads and conduct opposition research, often devoid of fact or truth.
Influencing the Judicial System: Soros has been a major financial supporter of various progressive legal organizations, such as the American Constitution Society and the Center for Justice & Accountability. These groups often work to shape the outcome of legal cases and influence the judicial system, which can significantly impact the implementation of policies and the outcome of elections.
The controversy surrounding George Soros's involvement in US elections raises several important questions about the role of wealthy individuals in shaping the American political process. Some argue that Soros's actions constitute an abuse of his wealth and influence, effectively undermining the democratic principles of fairness and equal representation. Others contend that Soros's contributions to left-wing causes and candidates simply reflect his personal beliefs and that he has the right to use his wealth to support the political causes he believes in.
Good Night Mr. & Mrs. America And All The Ships At Sea
Regardless, it is clear that his involvement in US elections has had a significant and detrimental impact on the American political landscape. By using his vast wealth to support radically left-wing candidates and causes, Soros has disproportionately shaped the policies and priorities of the Democrat Party to a globalist and more socialist point of view. This has contributed to the growing polarization of American politics, as both parties increasingly rely on wealthy donors to fund their campaigns and advance their agendas.
With a track record of meddling in elections in the United States to benefit his preferred political and ideological agendas, his acquisition of Audacy – as well as his other media acquisitions of late – points to a fiendish effort to manipulate the electorate to his will. This flies in the face of the very essence of democratic elections and constitutionally representative government.
If the FCC wasn’t wholly woke, corrupt, and politicized, there wouldn’t be a chance in Hell that this acquisition would be allowed to happen. Then, in the Deep State, money talks and good government, well, it simply doesn’t exist.
