Selling Out The American People for Opportunistic Dark Money Power
In an era where the United States faces unprecedented threats both abroad and at home, congressional Democrats, guided by their far-Left Marxist handlers and fueled by dark money from shadowy “progressive” donors, have shown a shocking disregard for the American people. This isn’t just political disagreement—it’s a calculated betrayal of the electorate’s demands, rooted in narcissism and opportunistic power grabs.
While everyday Americans demand secure borders, fair elections, and effective, rational governance, Democrats prioritize ideological extremism and Gestapo-like party loyalty over national interest. Their actions during critical moments, such as the ongoing military action with Iran and domestic security alerts, exemplify this callous, arrogant indifference.
First, consider the Democrats’ vote to perpetuate the partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This isn’t just bureaucratic gridlock; it’s a dangerous game of political hostage-taking.
DHS has been partially shuttered since February 14, following failed negotiations over immigration enforcement reforms sparked by perceived over-aggressiveness by CBP and ICE agents. Republicans pushed for funding tied to stricter border measures, but Democrats blocked it, insisting on what they call “humane” policies that essentially amount to open borders. This shutdown has forced TSA to suspend non-essential services, FEMA responses to lag, and essential personnel to work without pay—all while the U.S. military is locked in a military campaign against the Islamofascists of Iran.
Launched on February 28 with Operation Epic Fury, the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes have decimated Iranian leadership, killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his immediate successor, and crippled their missile and nuclear capabilities. Their backs to the wall, the Iranian hardliners retaliate with missile barrages and drone swarms across the Middle East, closing the Strait of Hormuz and spiking global oil prices.
Amid this chaos, the FBI has issued nationwide alerts warning of Iranian sleeper cells potentially activating within the U.S. Encrypted communications intercepted by US intelligence from Iran suggest triggers for these assets, with specific concerns about drone attacks on the West Coast. How can Democrats justify starving DHS of funds now? Their obstruction endangers law enforcement, travelers, disaster responders, and the American people as a whole. It’s intellectually unencumbered arrogance at its peak: prioritizing anti-Trump resistance over national security, all while dark money from groups like George Soros, Neville Roy Singham, and Hansjörg Wyss-backed organizations floods their campaigns to perpetuate this radical agenda.
Equally egregious is Democrats’ opposition to the SAVE Act, a commonsense measure to safeguard elections by requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration.
Polls, including a recent Harvard/Harris survey, show overwhelming support: 75% of Americans favor proof of citizenship, 80% want non-citizens purged from voter rolls, and 81% back voter ID requirements. This cuts across parties and demographics—69% of independents and even 70% of Democrats agree on key elements. With the 2026 midterms looming, 71% overall support the SAVE America Act, which expands on these protections by curbing no-excuse mail voting and ensuring absentee ballots arrive by Election Day.
Yet, Democrats decry it as “voter suppression” and “Jim Crow 2.0” without a shred of evidence to substantiate their claims, blocking its Senate passage despite House approval in February. Their far-Left handlers, from progressive think tanks to Marxist-leaning activists, push this narrative to maintain power through voter rolls inflated by individuals who do not have the right to vote in US elections. This isn’t about democracy or voter suppression; it’s galling and transparently arrogant opportunism, ignoring the 80% of Americans who demand secure elections to prevent fraud and ensure only citizens decide our fate.
This pattern extends to immigration policy, where Democrats consistently place illegal immigrants above American citizens. Sworn to protect and serve the people, they’ve instead funneled billions into programs aiding illegal migrants—sanctuary cities, free healthcare, and expedited work permits—while American families navigate inflation, housing shortages, and fentanyl epidemics fueled by porous borders.
During the DHS shutdown, they’ve refused compromises that would enhance border security, all for political gain: courting the growing immigrant vote bloc–mostly illegal–and appeasing dark money donors who profit from cheap labor and social upheaval. This opportunism is particularly egregious amid the Iran war, where sleeper cell threats could exploit weak borders. Democrats’ full-throated narcissism shines through—they’d rather virtue-signal on “compassion” than fulfill their duty, leaving Americans vulnerable.
At the core of this disregard is an insolent failure to seek compromise, the bedrock of effective government. Elected officials must bridge divides, yet Democrats have embraced total obstruction. From filibustering the SAVE Act to rejecting DHS funding extensions, they’ve weaponized Senate rules to halt progress.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called the SAVE Act “dead on arrival,” dismissing bipartisan polling as “fringe.” This isn’t loyal opposition; it’s revolutionary arrogance, egged on by Marxist ideologues who view compromise as weakness. Dark money amplifies this: billions from anonymous super PACs fund attack ads and primary challenges against any Democrat daring to cross the line. The result? Gridlock that harms the people, from delayed disaster aid to unsecured elections.
(As an aside, it’s time to revisit the atrocious Supreme Court decision on Citizens United)
Ultimately, Democrats place their party’s well-being above the American people’s. Loyalty to far-Left agendas—defund the police echoes, open borders, election overhauls, identity politics—trumps fidelity to constituents. While Republicans push America First policies like secure borders, lower taxes, opportunity for all, and voter integrity, Democrats chase power through division, bankrolled by elite donors hiding behind NGOs indifferent to working-class struggles.
How can anyone who understands what the Democrats are doing truly believe that they have the best interests of our nation and its people at heart? To that end, how can congressional Republicans continue to believe that Democrats are somehow the loyal opposition, instead of caustic revolutionaries hellbent on the pursuit of complete power?
It is time for Republicans in the House and Senate to go scorched earth in an effort to achieve codification of all the items on the America First agenda. Any Republican not having commitment and fidelity to that mission should be replaced at the earliest opportunity; the price for selling out the American people for their lust for the Deep State status quo.
