“Peace of earth, goodwill towards men.” We hear this phrase every year during the holidays, albeit less and less thanks to the marketing-driven “reimagined” Christmas.
FYI, the proper translation of Luke 2:11 is 'Peace on earth to men of goodwill.' Or, alternately, 'Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased." Specifically, God grants peace on earth to men of goodwill, and presumably not to men of bad will. Jus' sayin'... Merry Christmas
