Not Just No But Hell No!

We in the United States are facing a full-on assault against the First Amendment right to freedom of speech, the most important inalienable right possessed by a free people. And while the right to free speech is codified in the US Bill of Rights, this attack is also taking place throughout the Western World.

But looking to the future, not only are the globalist elites attempting to illegally legislate speech control, but an entire generation is ignorant of why free speech is so important and, as new polling indicates, is willing to compromise on its absolute sanctity.

I’m Usually Not A Fan Of Polls…

An article published at Cato.org titled, New Polling Suggests the Kids Are Not Alright on Free Speech, reports:

“In [a recent Nate Silver] poll, only 29 percent of students said a speaker who viewed transgender people as having a mental disorder or who viewed ‘Black Lives Matter’ as a hate group should be allowed to speak. Only 43 percent said an advocate for the abolition of abortion should be allowed on campus.
“On the other hand, 65 percent of students would allow a speaker calling for the abolition of the Second Amendment so guns can be confiscated; 57 percent would allow a speaker who argued that religious liberty is used as an excuse to discriminate against gays and lesbians; and 72 percent would allow speakers with the view that structural racism maintains inequality by protecting White privilege.
“Such disparate views toward speech were largely driven by a divide between students on the left – who were permissive of progressive speakers but hostile to conservative speakers – and conservative students – who were fairly consistent in their support for speakers regardless of political viewpoint…”

Welcome to the intellectually stunted and emotionalized GenZ, perhaps the least educated and informed yet entitled and enabled generation the United States has ever produced. Do you believe that description is harsh? Well, let’s look at how this generation prioritizes the important things in life.

This is a young woman who actually graduated college and throughout all of that “education,” through all of those “experiences,” she is stunned that life is hard? Can we count how many ways the education system and her parents failed her in her young life?

Who’s To Blame?

I take issue with the ideologically hijacked education system because they are failing to cultivate critical thinking skills past the dependent stage of the toddler. Instead, the system propagandizes “colonialism,” gender politics, race-based politics, and simplistic theories like Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (yes, they have expanded the acronym because they are constantly redefining where the fulcrum of divide needs to be placed to achieve their dependency) and Critical Race Theory. The public school system is – literally – useless as a tool to educate.

But I also take issue with the parents of GenZ. These parents have done little to nothing in preparing their children for the world. They have failed as parents (and I am not saying all, but I am implying most) because they are too self-absorbed and self-important to apply the effort needed to do the hard work of parenting. Instead, they cede that responsibility to the corrupt and ineffective education system thus completely abdicating their role in raising their children.

Thus, we are saddled with an expanded generation that is uninformed, uneducated, and unable to operate with any intellectual capacity when it comes to being able to understand any matter requiring the employment of critical thinking.

Now, with an entire generation devoid of critical thinking skills and the ability to step outside their self-importance, how are we supposed to expect them to understand how the loss of freedom of speech leads directly to totalitarianism and eventually despotism?

Why Is This GenZ Defect So Dangerous To The Free World?

Make no mistake. Stupid people and people left intellectually unarmed to defend and think for themselves don’t live free. They eventually cede their freedom for a false sense of security, sold to them by opportunistic politicians as solutions to perceived chaos.

The ability to understand this manipulation is now necessary – necessary – because the United Nations is attempting to wrest authority away from sovereign nations to create a global speech authority under the incredibly disingenuous guise of “protecting” the world from disinformation, conspiracy theories, and false information.

As reported in the Epoch Times:

“A powerful United Nations agency has unveiled a plan to regulate social media and online communication while cracking down on what it describes as “false information” and “conspiracy theories,” sparking alarm among free-speech advocates and top US lawmakers.
“In its 59-page report released this month, the UN Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) outlined a series of ‘concrete measures which must be implemented by all stakeholders: governments, regulatory authorities, civil society, and the platforms themselves.’
“This approach includes the imposition of global policies, through institutions such as governments and businesses, designed to stop the spread of various forms of speech while promoting objectives such as “cultural diversity” and “gender equality.”
“In particular, the UN agency aims to create an ‘Internet of Trust’ by targeting what it calls ‘misinformation,’ ‘disinformation,’ ‘hate speech,’ and ‘conspiracy theories.’
“Examples of expression flagged to be stopped or restricted include concerns about elections, public health measures, and advocacy that could constitute ‘incitement to discrimination.’”

Tits On A Bull

Please understand that the United Nations is not an organization of elected members; the people do not elect representatives of the United Nations. Therefore, they are not – repeat, are not – a governing body with any authority to do anything. They are a body that was created to facilitate dialogue so that global conflicts can be avoided, a mission at which the organization has so far failed miserably:

The UN has failed to stop conflicts – both regional and larger – for as long as it has been in existence
It has failed to intercede in genocides
Its food charity program has enabled tyrants and warlords alike to lord food over people, thus forcing them to kneel to their authoritative whims
They have created unauthorized authorities in the form of the World Health Organization and the World Bank that issue policies and edicts as if they have global power to do so

And now the UN – through UNESCO – has unilaterally decided they will be the arbiter of what hate speech is; what disinformation is; what are and are not theories of conspiracy? Seriously??

It was a UN agency (the WHO) that got every single thing wrong about COVID and then let communist China off the hook for propagating the virus! The UN used its pseudo authority to demolish a global economy in an attempt to empower its puppet masters at the World Economic Forum and now they want to decide the future of free speech for the free world?!

We Must Take A Stand NOW!

It is understandable that the intellectually stunted Gen Z (you know, the ones who whine about a 40-hour work week and who are now marching on college campuses and in urban areas in support of Hamas) wouldn’t have the wherewithal to realize that giving the UN authority to place limitations on free speech and to define what disinformation, hate speech, and conspiracy theories are is a direct path to the loss of freedom in total. After all, the WEF has already duped them into believing capitalism is the root of all evil and that a better life includes owning nothing and being happy.

But for the rest of us – the ones equipped with the intellectual ability to think beyond ourselves; the ones who think things through beyond the glitter of Madison Avenue propaganda, we must refuse the UN this power grab. They have no authority to impose anything on anyone about anything anywhere and at any time.

Quite frankly, they shouldn’t be seeking to expand their power, we should be taking measures to end the failed organization.

To UNESCO in the issue of their authority over free speech, I say not just no, but hell no!
