How We Should Be Pushing Back Against The Propagandistic Left
As the clash between the terrorist organization Hamas and the sovereign nation of Israel rages on, the neo-fascist Left’s propaganda machine is in full whir, their special interest operatives whipping the ignorant GenZers and late-to-reality Millennials into chaotic bluster; preparing them for their return-to-campus crusade release.
And so, the narrative that first (and rightfully) supported Israel in the immediate days after Hamas’ October 11th attack is slowly being turned at the hands of the nauseatingly repetitive propaganda squawk of the antisemitic Left, to paint Israel as the aggressor in the conflict.
Just 22 years ago we saw the same tactic but from a first-hand point of view as the caustic Left attempted to paint the United States as the villain in the aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the United States by the “vermin” that were the Islamofascist terrorists of al Qaeda and their Taliban facilitators.
But this piece is not about the minutiae of the Hamas-Israeli conflict, although a clear knowledge of that conflict would benefit the world, much to the chagrin of the neo-fascist Left. No, it is about pushing back against false narratives imposed by the elite few and amplified by thick-headed and complicit media to the point that lies become truths.
Arrogance On Parade & Demolished
Recently, on a program called Piers Morgan Uncensored, broadcast on Sky News, FOX Nations, and other outlets, a journalist named Douglas Murray faced off against Cenk Uygur of a propagandist offering on YouTube called Young Turks about what is happening in Gaza.
A bit about the “debate” participants.
Douglas Murray is a British Journalist and author of the book The War on the West as well as several others including The Madness of Crowds and Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam. He has been a contributor to The Spectator since 2000 and has been Associate Editor at the magazine since 2012. He writes regularly for numerous outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, The Evening Standard, The New York Post, and The New Criterion, and is a regular contributor to National Review, UnHerd, and The Free Press. He was an undergraduate at Oxford.
In 2007, Murray founded the Centre for Social Cohesion (CSC), the first think-tank in Britain to study extremism and terrorism. The CSC subsequently became part of the Henry Jackson Society, where Murray held the position of Associate Director from 2011 to 2018.
Murray has spoken on a variety of prominent platforms, including at the British and European Parliaments and the White House. He is a regular contributor to Sky News Australia and FOX News.
Cenk Uygur is a self-proclaimed journalist, political activist, and host of the Left-wing/Progressive (read: neo-fascist) socio-political commentary program The Young Turks. He also co-founded the neo-fascist political action committee Justice Democrats. He gamed his way into hosting the short-lived show MSNBC Live in 2011.
And Uygur is a candidate for the Democrat Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2024 even though he is constitutionally prohibited from being one (he was born in Istanbul, Turkey).
On this particular day, I am certain that Uygur was happy he wasn’t on a DNC presidential debate stage as his performance would have eliminated him from the field – again – even though he is unqualified to run for the presidency.
The Intellectual Arena
After fielding some hyperbolic abuses from Uygur – that Murray didn’t care about the deaths of Palestinian children and the hands of the IDF, that Murray was supporting genocide, and a rash of the usual attacks leveled by uneducated activists of the Left, Murray was afforded his chance to respond. Please pay close attention to Murray’s use of facts and to how Uygur failed – even in a cursory manner – to respond to the truths leveled at him:
After a barrage of facts and meaningful points from Murray, an indignant, self-promoting, shallow rant by Uygur filled with qualifiers and no substance. That’s what passes for intellect on the neo-fascist, self-righteous Left today.
Armchair Quarterbacking Anyone?
So, what did we learn from Murray? We learned that Hamas is the entity responsible for the deaths of innocent Palestinians, not the Israeli government or the IDF. We learned
that the Palestinian government (Hamas-run) is responsible for the total of the Palestinian people’s woes. And we learned that through all of that, the Palestinian people do not want a two-state solution; a solution being pushed by the neo-fascist Left in the West, but, instead, demand the extermination of the Israeli state.
What did we learn from Uygur? That he is a pompous, rude, self-important know-nothing who re-invents – oh, wait, I’m sorry, “re-imagines” – history to support his narrative. We learned that he defecates on the rules, otherwise, why would he believe himself constitutionally eligible to run for the presidency? And we learned that his status as an intellect is self-imposed and unqualified, to use the phrase Murray used, Uygur is “unlettered.”
The overarching point to all of this is that we have a glut of people in our society – and an overwhelming majority of GenZers and late-term Millennials – who are just as Uygur is: self-righteous without the experience to warrant the attitude, pseudo-intellectual, entitled, and arrogant. They possess no experience – either in life or academically – to support their opinions on a great many issues, yet they virtue-signal and profess a knowledge of the issues, even extending themselves into proselytizing on them.
In the video, you can see that Murray has hit his tolerance wall with Uygur’s inanity; Uygur’s posing as an intellect and demanding that others see him as such. Murray’s exasperation illustrates the exhaustion felt by many where the loud-mouthed, know-it-alls of the self-elevating Left are concerned.
Sadly, our complacency in providing true governmental oversight has put us all in a position to be ruled by this pathetic pseudo-intellectual, activist ilk. And who do we have to blame for that?
It’s time that we – the people who have taken the time to research the issues – push back against the Uygurs of the world. They need to be dismissed from the realm of influence until they acquire the knowledge to earn a seat at the table.
Just because they feel they deserve a seat doesn’t mean they should be offered one.
