Project 2025: The Left's Politically Motivated Disinformation Serves No One
It's important to note the following about Project 2025: Despite false claims and misleading memes from the far-left, this initiative is not affiliated with the Republican Party or the Trump campaign. Additionally, Donald Trump has not endorsed or adopted it as a platform. Therefore, branding Trump or the Republican Party as right-wing extremists based on these disinformation claims is the stuff of propagandists and opportunistic liars.
Project 2025 is a product of The Heritage Foundation, a solidly conservative – and on extremely rare occasions excessively so – think tank organization based out of the Washington, DC cesspool. While, over the years, the Heritage Foundation has done yeoman’s work on shepherding the conservative movement, the organizational apparatus does have a bad habit of sucking all the air out of the room where the marginalizing of grassroots organizations is concerned.
Nevertheless, the propagandists of the Democrat Party (and you have to admit that truth after the Steele Dosier and Russian Collusion disinformation campaigns of 2016) would have the voting public deceived by memes that include points that are found nowhere in the Heritage Foundation’s text and the use of twisted rhetoric to misrepresent what Project 2025 actually espouses. The far-left’s goal is to brand the Trump campaign – and the GOP – as puritanical in fueling the political pendulum's wild vacillation from far-left to far-right.
This dishonest and disingenuous attempt to deceive the American public is just par for the course for both the Biden administration and its Obama 2.0 puppeteers. The only question is this: How many of those in the Democrat political apparatus are pathological liars?
The overarching, general pillars of Project 2025 are not only admirable but solidly reasonable:
Restore the family as the centerpiece of American life and protect
our children.
Dismantle the administrative state and return self-governance to the
American people.
Defend our nation’s sovereignty, borders, and bounty against global threats.
Secure our God-given individual rights to live freely—what our Constitution
calls “the Blessings of Liberty”
There isn’t a damn thing wrong with anything in any of those pillars. Each is a foundational principle used to craft The Charters of Freedom: The Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. They are the core of our national “id,” the founding judeo-Christian ideals of Americanism.
Politically Motivated Disinformation Unpunished
But that doesn’t stop intellectually stunted pseudo-activists, like Mark Hamill and the rest of the unwarrantedly self-righteous elite, from propagating non-truths in an effort to confuse and deceive the public. Hamill posted the following meme on his toddler-esque, crybaby X account:
Almost immediately, the Heritage Foundation issued a rebuttal tweet outing Hamill and his like-minded gaggle of uneducated and disinformed provocateurs for their ignorance and deception:
MYTHS VS. FACTS ABOUT PROJECT 2025
We are not affiliated with former President Trump. We are a coalition of more than 110 conservative groups advocating policy and personnel recommendations.
End No-fault Divorce: FALSE
Divorce is not mentioned in our policy handbook.

The policy handbook calls for the government to comply with laws that prevent federal funding of abortion. It also calls for federal support for alternatives to abortion, including adoption.Ban Contraceptives: FALSE
The policy handbook says nothing about banning or restricting contraceptionAdditional tax breaks for corporations and the 1%: MISLEADING
The policy handbook calls for lower taxes for all Americans to stimulate economic growth and put more money in Americans’ pockets.Higher taxes for the working class: FALSE
The policy handbook calls for lower taxes for all Americans. Individuals spend their money more productively than the government does.Elimination of unions and worker protections: FALSE
The policy handbook presents different ideas about a conservative labor policy. It calls for combatting the excesses of the Deep State’s bloated federal employee unions, which have ensured that federal employees keep their jobs even if they engage in illegal behavior or perform their jobs poorly.Raise the retirement age: FALSE
Raising the retirement age is not advocated in the policy handbook.Cut Social Security: FALSE
The policy handbook does not advocate cutting Social Security.End Affordable Care Act: FALSE
The policy handbook offers policy suggestions to curb the abuses of the Affordable Care Act.Raise prescription drug prices: FALSE
The policy handbook offers proposals to lower drug prices through competition and innovation.Eliminate the Department of Education: TRUE
The policy handbook calls for an end to the Department of Education. Since the Department was created, educational outcomes have not improved, and the American school system has increasingly fallen behind other countries. Giving more control back to state and local governments and expanding school choice would improve education outcomes for all Americans, especially underprivileged communities. Some functions of the Department would be moved to other departments, including Labor, Justice, and Commerce.Use taxpayer money for private religious schools: TRUE
Americans are able to use taxpayer money to choose where they shop for groceries, attain housing, and obtain higher education. Religious schools often outperform public schools, and families should have the choice to send their children to these schools.Teach Christian religious beliefs in public schools: FALSE
The policy handbook advocates for all educational opportunities, and for parental rights in education.End free and discounted school lunch programs: FALSE
The policy handbook advocates that the Food & Nutrition Service be moved from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Health & Human Services. It condemns the Biden administration’s decision to threaten schools that do not comply with radical transgender policies by taking away their funding for school meals for needy students. Additionally, The handbook supports prioritizing school meal programs for those students who are truly needy, not creating an entitlement for almost all students regardless of family income levels.End civil rights and DEI protections in government: MOSTLY FALSE
The policy handbook calls for respecting the civil rights of all Americans, including those who have been censored by the government or had it weaponized against them. The handbook advocates for the end of divisive, race-based, anti-American propaganda in the federal workforce.Ban African American and gender studies in all levels of education: FALSE
The policy handbook does not mention African American studies or gender studies.Ban books and curriculum about slavery: FALSE
The policy handbook does not advocate for banning books or curricula about slavery.Ending climate protections: FALSE
The policy handbook advocates policies that will produce economic growth through abundant, affordable energy. Farmers, hunters, and fishermen know how to protect our environment better than DC bureaucrats. The Biden administration’s relentless focus on climate has made America less competitive and wasted crucial taxpayer dollars.Increase Arctic drilling: TRUE
The Arctic is of immense strategic importance to America. The policy handbook advocates a strong pursuit of American interests in the region, through economic freedom, through ensuring free and open shipping lanes, and through the development of the vast energy resources of the Arctic.Deregulate big business and the oil industry: MOSTLY TRUE
America needs energy that is plentiful and affordable. The policy handbook calls for an all-of-the-above energy policy that would promote the development of our domestic energy supply and for fewer burdensome regulations for all businesses.Promote and expedite capital punishment: TRUE
The appropriateness of capital punishment divides Americans, and conservatives, of good will. The policy handbook calls for the enforcement of the federal death penalty where appropriate and applicable, and recommends a future presidential administration pursue the death penalty for the most heinous crimes, including those involving violence and the sexual abuse of children, unless Congress says otherwise through legislation.End marriage equality: FALSE
The legal recognition of same-sex marriage is not discussed in the policy handbook. It calls for the protection of faith-based grant recipients who maintain support for the traditional definition of marriage. It also supports conscience protections for those who do not wish to participate in same-sex marriages.Condemn single mothers while promoting only “traditional families”: FALSE
The handbook suggests that a future HHS Secretary replace the policies of the Biden administration that prioritize LGBTQ+ equality, subsidize single motherhood, disincentivize work, and penalize marriage with policies that instead encourage marriage, work, motherhood, fatherhood, and nuclear families.Defund the FBI and Homeland Security: FALSE
The handbook supports de-weaponizing the federal government, including the FBI. The handbook’s chapter on the Department of Homeland Security advocates the legislative creation of a standalone Cabinet-level agency with a focus on the border and immigration, including US Customs & Border Protection, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, the Office of Refugee Resettlement, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Office of Immigration Litigation. It also recommends that legislation be pursued to move other component parts of DHS to other agencies, including the Department of Transportation, the Department of Defense, the Department of the Treasury, and the FBI.Use military to break up domestic protests: FALSE
The “protests” referenced in the handbook are protests in Iran against its anti-American leadership; and protests of parents at school board meetings in opposition to critical race theory and COVID mandates. Both protests are referenced positively. The handbook also protests the FBI’s harassment of protesting parents and condemns the arrest by armed FBI agents of a man who had protested at an abortion clinic a year earlier.Mass deportation of immigrants and incarceration in “camps”: MISLEADING
The handbook supports an orderly and lawful immigration system. It advocates that the Immigration & Customs Enforcement’s Office of Removal Operations be primarily responsible for enforcing civil immigration regulations, including the removal of those who have violated our immigration laws. It also calls for additional resources to put an end to President Biden’s border crisis and enforce immigration laws.End birthright citizenship: FALSE
There is no mention of ending birthright citizenship in the policy handbook.Ban Muslims from entering the country: FALSE
There is no mention of banning Muslims from entering the United States in the policy handbook.Eliminate federal agencies like the FDA, EPA, NOAA and more: FALSE
The policy handbook’s plan would not eliminate the FDA or the EPA, and NOAA’s functions would be transferred to other agencies, the private sector, and states and territories.Continue to pack the Supreme Court and lower courts with right-wing judges: FALSE
The only people calling for packing the judiciary are those on the Left, who do it every time the Supreme Court or a lower court makes decisions they don’t like.
This corrective text to the false-flag meme of the imbecilic left speaks volumes about the far-left’s non-existent relationship with the truth and their complete lack of curiosity about it.
Too Long Afflicted With The Poison Of The Far-Left
Frankly, our nation’s grotesque dalliance with Marxism and Fascism – which has been ongoing and advancing for over 100 years, with the ascension of Woodrow Wilson and the academic expert class to power – has damaged the very core of Americanism, individualism, and the foundational spirit of government through rational compromise.
Throughout our nation’s founding – from the crafting and adoption of the Declaration of Independence to the crafting and adoption of the US Constitution and its Amendments, honest, truthful, and ingenuous debate on critical issues, even when both sides stood far apart in their desires and beliefs, saw our nation served best when both sides came together in compromise. The key words here are “honest,” “truthful,” and “ingenuous,” none of which applies to today’s far-left.
Again, harkening back to the Wilsonian era, the Marxist and Fascist factions in American politics – exclusively seeded in the Democrat Party’s far-left wing, through their devotion to maintaining power at all costs (and transformative power at that), have rendered both their intentions and tactics as suspect and untrustworthy. Sadly, this has facilitated the mendacious, manufactured perception that the conservative side of the aisle is centered on absolutism. Thus, the far-left of the American political spectrum – the Marxists, fascists, and neo-Bolsheviks – are guilty of gaslighting the American people and failing to honor our foundational principles based on compromise: sincere, ingenuous, non-self-serving compromise.
Once again, the bloviators of the far-left, self-anointed pseudo-ruling class have managed to sprinkle the false narrative of absolutism and extremism throughout an agreeable list of goals; a list that an overwhelming majority of Americans would, no doubt, get behind if they were only not the targets of the far-left’s lies, lies that only serve the far-left’s Machiavellian addiction to power.
This is just one more reason why the Democrats must both purge the Marxist radicals from their ranks and suffer a humiliating loss as motivation to do so this November.
