British Prime Minister Theresa May started the formal process that will divorce the United Kingdom from the European Union, overturning four decades of overreaching integration with its neighbors.
The European Union, once an effort to facilitate a common currency and unencumbered travel through the continent, now exists on the brink because the European Parliament insisted on morphing into a governing body that extended well beyond its chartered authority.
Today, the EU exists as a threat to the sovereignty of each individual European country; countries that have unique and cherished cultures and histories. Under the guise of multiculturalism and diversity, this completely ideological body has done great damage to the countries of Europe, including the facilitation of a refugee crisis that, in fact, is an ipso facto invasion of the continent from the Middle East and Africa.
It took great courage and resolve for the British people to protect its heritage and they should be congratulated, even as Progressives and Fabian Socialists in their country attempt to demonize them by stigmatizing them with completely unfounded labels.
